This project began in 2019 as part of my A-Level Photography course, marking my first experience working with 35mm film.

All images are black and white, developed and printed by hand in the darkroom.

The work documents everyday moments with friends, capturing familiar spaces and routines. 

Early technical mistakes led to light leaks and distorted negatives, exposing the fragility and creative potential of film.

These imperfections deepened my interest in the medium and shaped a documentary approach rooted in honesty, memory, and lived experience.
