Cover designs were one of the earliest areas of my graphic design practice and were developed entirely on a freelance basis.

I worked closely with a wide range of rappers, musicians, and management teams to create artwork that accurately reflected each artist’s sound, identity, and wider creative direction.

My role involved translating music and narrative into strong visual concepts, often collaborating directly with artists to ensure the artwork aligned with their project goals and audience.

I produced covers for standalone singles as well as larger bodies of work, including EPs and albums, requiring a balance between immediate impact and long-term visual consistency.

Across these projects, I utilised a broad mix of creative techniques, including illustration, collage, photography, typography, and 3D modelling.

This mixed-media approach allowed me to adapt to different genres, moods, and brand identities while maintaining a distinctive visual quality.

Each cover was designed to function across digital streaming platforms, social media, and promotional materials, ensuring clarity and recognition at multiple scales.

Through this work, I delivered artwork that supported artists in presenting themselves professionally and cohesively, helping them establish stronger visual identities and reach wider audiences as their careers developed.
