3D ANIMATION:
FLAVASHACK ASHTRAY PROMOTIONAL VIDEO

I created a 3D animation and video project for Flavashack that blended live-action footage with their animated brand mascots to promote the release of a new ashtray.

The concept centred on merging real-world product imagery with the brand’s playful universe, reinforcing Flavashack’s recurring use of quirky characters as part of its visual identity.

I shot and lit the footage myself, capturing a slow dolly-zoom of the ashtray placed on a table while an actor subtly interacted with it.

The mascots were animated in 3D and integrated into the scene, appearing to sit on the ashtray, fall from its edges, and walk around it, creating a sense of scale, movement, and character interaction within a real environment.

Using Blender and supporting rigging tools, I animated the characters and carefully composited them into the live footage.

I then edited, colour-graded, and assembled the final video in Premiere Pro.

Working under light creative direction from the Flavashack team, I handled the project end-to-end, delivering a simple but effective social media video that seamlessly blended physical product footage with animated elements, helping establish a distinctive and memorable visual language for the brand.
