FASHION D+D:
KAIVYON

FREELANCE, 2024

I worked on a freelance design and development project for Kaivyon, creating two tactical cross-body sling bags built around security, function, and a cohesive visual language.

Both designs featured a three-point snap-buckle strap system, allowing the bags to secure under each arm and around the body for increased stability during movement.

The larger black bag adopted a rounded, organic silhouette, prioritising comfort and fluid form, while the smaller white bag used a more structured square shape to maximise internal storage efficiency.

Despite their differing proportions, both bags were developed as a unified system, sharing the same fabrics, trims, hardware, fastening methods, and branding details to maintain consistency across the range.

Functionality was central to the designs.

Each bag incorporated a range of external and internal storage solutions, including D-clips, nylon cord attachments, mesh compartments, and internal zip pockets, allowing for flexible organisation and practical everyday use.

Alongside the design work, I produced clear and concise specification sheets for each bag, outlining key construction details, materials, hardware choices, and functional features to support accurate sampling and production.
