FASHION D+D:
KROEN

IN-HOUSE, 2024-Present

Alongside my wider in-house creative roles, I have worked as an in-house product developer for Kroen, supporting the brand owners in bringing their ideas from concept to finished product.

My role focuses on bridging creative vision and technical execution, using my background in fashion design and garment construction to guide decisions around pattern logic, construction methods, and production techniques.

I work closely with the founders throughout the design process, advising on silhouettes, colour combinations, trims, hardware, packaging, and garment graphics, while also researching materials and specialist techniques suited to each product.

I connect the brand with global manufacturers and factories, manage communication during development, and produce detailed tech packs for every style.

I also assess returned samples, creating clear correction packs to refine fit, construction, and finish through successive iterations until the product is production-ready.

Beyond studio work, I’ve introduced the brand to fabric and manufacturing exhibitions and often accompany the founders to trade shows to source new inspiration, materials, and contacts.

I also travelled with the team to our overseas manufacturers, visiting factories and suppliers firsthand to strengthen production relationships and understanding.

Through this hands-on, development-led approach, I have helped Kroen scale its product offering and operational confidence, contributing to the brand’s steady growth to nearly 40k Instagram followers.
