KROEN ’FEEL BLUE’ VIDEO

Feel Blue is a short-form social reel created for Kroen, where I led the art direction to introduce the brand’s new colour, Kroen Blue, as well as a new animateed spinning logo assset to be used throughout their brand’s media.

The project reworked footage from a previous shoot I had filmed, transforming it into a new, concept-led visual.

I rotoscoped the model, Elena, and placed her into a custom 3D space built in Blender. The environment is an ultra-minimal black void, defined only by camera lighting behaviour and spatial depth cues like haze, glare, and bloom.

The concept centres on Elena being entranced by an unseen blue object behind the camera, gradually feeling the colour take over.

I collaborated with Kroen’s creative directors on the use of white contact lenses and UV lighting to make the blue feel internal as well as external.

At the start, the object itself is revealed only through shadow, a deliberate choice to create mystery while subtly directing focus toward Elena’s eyes through the gaps in the 3D object.

The camera slowly rotates to reveal a metallic, glossy 3D Kroen logo, which I designed (in collaboration with the Kroen team) and animated with a delayed spin across its three bars to reflect the logo’s structure.

I also designed the sound elements for the video, using spatial panning and stereo spreading to bring depth and movement to the space. As the visuals shift, the sound subtly moves and expands, helping the minimal environment feel immersive and alive.
