MOTION GRAPHICS
FREELANCE, 2018-2020
I began working with motion graphics around 2021, initially creating short, minimal animations such as brand intros, title cards, and animated logos.
These early projects were delivered on a freelance basis for musicians, fashion brands, and events or media companies, with a focus on clarity, timing, and strong brand identity.
As my technical confidence grew, my motion work expanded into promotional content, particularly through in-house projects for Kroen, where I worked as a resident creative.
Here, I produced motion graphics tailored for social media, using subtle animation to add energy, depth, and distinction to static assets.
This content was designed to be engaging without being overwhelming, helping campaigns cut through crowded digital spaces.
I applied the same approach to my own brand, Skinsuit, animating typography, graphics, and compositions to bring still campaigns to life and extend their reach.
Sound design plays a key role in my motion graphics practice.
I design and integrate custom audio using spatial panning, layering, and timing to reinforce movement and rhythm on screen.
Sound is treated as an extension of the visual language, enhancing immersion, pacing, and emotional impact rather than acting as an afterthought.
Across all projects, my motion graphics work balances restraint and expression, using animation and sound together to create purposeful, engaging visual content.
