I shot this campaign for Nike as Director of Photography on a freelance basis for Valentine Global, creating a retro-led compilation film to support the re-release of the Air Max TL 2.5.

The concept was rooted in authenticity, positioning the shoe not as a trend revival, but as a cultural constant shaped by the people who have lived with it.

Each featured creator styled and wore the Air Max TL in locations personal to them, allowing their environments and voiceovers to anchor the film in real memory, taste, and experience.

My approach to shooting focused on texture, movement, and rhythm, drawing from early-2000s visual language while keeping the film feeling contemporary and human. 

Performance and camera choreography were tightly considered to let personality lead, with the shoe naturally integrated into each moment rather than over-styled.

Alongside shooting, I directed talent, scouted locations, and shaped the visual flow of the film to ensure cohesion across multiple stories.

The result is a culturally grounded campaign that connects past and present through honest storytelling, lived-in style, and considered image-making.
