I was brought in by Pastdown ID to ideate, design, and develop a lightweight sportswear tracksuit that balanced technical function with everyday wearability.
The aim was to create a versatile silhouette that could move between sport and street, giving the brand a recognisable product that could scale beyond a single season.
I designed a zip-up hooded jacket and matching trousers with zip-off legs, introducing modularity to increase adaptability, longevity, and user control over how the garment is worn.
Working from initial sketches through to manufacturer-ready spec sheets, I developed the full design system: mockups, construction details, close-up component drawings, and colour palettes that aligned with Pastdown ID’s identity while allowing room for future evolution.
Feedback-led iteration was central to the process, refining proportions, detailing, and functionality to ensure the final product felt purposeful and premium.
The project became a defining success for the brand, contributing to its growth to 136k Instagram followers and adoption by figures such as Lil Yachty.
