VISUAL DIRECTION:
SKINSUIT ‘BUILT FOR SNOWDON’ VIDEO CAMPAIGN
SKINSUIT, 2024
Premiere Pro, Aftter Effects, Photoshop
This Skinsuit campaign was conceived as a real-world performance test for the Muscle Puffer set, using location, movement, and environment as the primary storytelling tools.
I ideated, planned, and produced the full campaign, directing a series of short social-first videos shot by Charlie Brunskill, while I led every other aspect of production.
This included location scouting, model casting, styling, logistics, and overall creative direction, as well as editing, colour grading, and sound design for the final films.
The campaign was shot entirely on Snowdon, Wales, requiring careful planning around weather, terrain, access, and timing.
These constraints informed a stripped-back visual approach, allowing the dramatic landscape to frame the garments and demonstrate their function, durability, and silhouette in demanding conditions.
The resulting videos are intentionally minimal, using movement and scenery to communicate performance and presence rather than heavy visual effects.
Alongside the films, I edited and finished the accompanying photography shot by Alfie Jones, maintaining visual consistency across all deliverables (see below).
Although grounded in real environments, the campaign conceptually exists within the Skinsuit digital laboratory, presented as ultra-realistic simulations designed to test products in extreme, authentic conditions.
